Intellect is a publishing company based in Bristol. They specialise in academic books and journals. They were looking to update their website in 2009. I worked with Intellect in getting this project developed and finished. The back-end team were based in Iran, and Intellect were without much techinical knowledge in house to assist with the development of the site.
It was my job to manage to expectations and deliverables from the team out in Iran. The project was over half-way through when I came on board, but there were many probelms with what was being delivered, as opposed what was required by Intellect. With much careful discussion I managed to improve the product (front-end and back-end) that was being delivered to Intellect, and improve the work flow of the CMS.
I've also worked in-house with Intellect at the start of 2010. Here I helped to continue the move forward they are working towards regarding their online presence and functionality. I worked closely with their ordering system, and created a two cart approach triggered by users global location.
