thisislondon.co.uk is the London Evening Standards online website. It was first launched in 1998 and was redesigned in 2003. In May 2004 it served over 17 million page impressions. thisislondon.co.uk won the Press Gazette's Best Regional website of the year award 2004.
It is content driven by an editorial team plus a picture desk and the message boards are a very popular area for users to sound off in.
Whilst working for ANM (now AND) I designed and built the message boards area, the motor channel, the 2000 Sydney Olympics channel and various other features.
